Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Lago de Acajatuba, State of Amazonas, Brazil
Our tour will start around 8am when we meet at your hotel and take a car to drive west from Manaus for around one and a half hours until we reach the Ubin lake where our host will be waiting to take a speedboat heading to the jungle where we’ll start a trekking of around 2 hours where we’ll learn more about Amazonian fauna and flora, learn about medicinal plants, jungle survival and much more.
From this walk we’ll ride to a platform where a project is held for protection and research about pink river dolphins, in this place we’ll have the unique opportunity to learn about these friendly beautiful creatures and enter the water to interact with them.
Now it’s time to visit our host’s home and have a delicious lunch with his family and enjoy a good conversation to learn about our riverine people’s culture and Amazonian history.
We’ll have a boat ride through the flooded forest to go piranha fishing and catch these famous ferocious water beasts.
When the night falls we’ll go on a search for cayman (alligators) and enjoy the beauties of our nocturnal wildlife.
We’ll return to the road and head back to arrive to your hotel around 8pm.
