Jamestown fishing community for a tour on foot (Jamestown is the oldest community in Accra, where Europeans first settled to carry out their slave trade activities). It is full of history, vibes and fascination especially watching the fisher men bring in the catch of the day

Stop At: Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, High St., Accra Ghana
Visit the memorial park of Dr Kwame Nkrumah who was a great Pan Africanist and a freedom fighter. He lead Ghana to gain in dependence in1957 (the first sub Saharan country to gain independence)

Stop At: Independence Square, Accra Ghana
Great location for photos with a lovely sea breeze, the centre point of where Ghana's independence was declared

Stop At: W.E.B. DuBois Center, 1 Circular Road, Cantonments just few meters from the US Embassy and close to Ghana International School, Accra Ghana
Visit the Centre for black African history. DuBois was a pan africanist, sociologist and freedom fighter. Find out a bit more about him and his work.
