Itinerary
Day 1: To Murchison Falls National Park with a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary:
Stop At: Rhino Fund Uganda ( Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary), Gulu Highway Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Nakitoma Uganda
On this day, you will have your breakfast & transfer to Murchison Falls National Park. The drive will take you through Luwero triangle & Budongo forest in the western arm of the Rift Valley where you will also be rewarded with splendid views of the countryside with a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
You will arrive in the afternoon, have lunch then enter the territory of the southern white rhinos on foot where well-trained rangers will guide you through the bush to where the white rhinos are. You will get the opportunity to watch these endangered, magnificent creatures in their natural habitat before proceeding to Murchison Falls National Park.

You will continue and arrive to Murchison Falls National Park in the evening & check in to Fort Murchison Lodge for your dinner & overnight stay in 01 double self-contained room with private bathroom facilities.
The lodge is set in a beautiful surrounding and looks out on the majestic Albert Nile that always add to the safari experience of its guests.

Day 2: Game Drive & Boat Safari on Victoria Nile:
Stop At: Murchison Falls National Park, Murchison Falls National Park, Western Region
On this day, your safari breakfast will be served before the day breaks so that you can start your morning game drive as the sun comes up. Sunrise is the best time for wildlife spotting as animals tend to be the most active during the “golden hours”, when the first rays of sunshine come to rest on the savannah. Elephants, buffalo and several species of antelope are some of the characters you may come across today, & if you’re lucky, you may even spot a lion or leopard.

You will return for lunch in the afternoon & go for a 3-hours boat safari upstream on the Victoria Nile to the falls where you will pass by breathtaking scenery, as well as many crocodiles, hundreds of hippos, buffaloes, water birds, monkeys & other animals that come down to the Nile. The boat will drop you near the waterfall for your hike (1-1.5 hours) up to the top of the falls (optional at additional cost of $15 pp).

Day 3: Top of the Falls Walk & Transfer to Kibale National Park for Guided Walk in Nature or Crater Lakes:
Stop At: Amabere Caves, Fort Portal Uganda
On this day, you will enjoy your last sunrise & breakfast in this beautiful National Park in Uganda with a walk to top of Murchison Falls for about 30 minutes to 1 hour & transfer to Kibale National Park with several stops along the way for lunch, beautiful scenery, landscape viewing among others before reaching the Park in the evening.
After your lunch, you will move to Amabere Ga Nyina Mwiru Caves for a guided walk in nature, stalagmites experience that is believed to be breast milk, hill climbing, crater lakes experience, birding and other wildlife viewing. The caves at Amabere Ga Nyina Mwiru resemble the breasts of a woman, though some would say it looks more like a cow’s udder.

Stop At: Kibale National Park, Kibale National Park, Western Region
You will continue and arrive to Kibale National Park in the evening & check in to Kibale Forest Camp or Isunga Lodge for dinner & overnight stay in self-contained safari tents with private bathroom facilities.
Your stay in Kibale Forest Camp for the next two nights will offer you a unique jungle experience. You will get absorbed by forest smells and sounds, spot primates swinging through the trees and observe rare birds and beautiful butterflies fluttering around. The elegant tented camp is located in a patch of evergreen forest which borders the Magombe swamp and is a mere 10 min drive to where your chimp tracking will start.

Day 4: Chimpanzees Tracking & Visit to Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary:
Stop At: Kanyanchu Visitor Center, Chimpanzee Tracking Kibale National Park, Kibale National Park Uganda
On this day, you will wake up early and have breakfast before moving to Kibale National Park for Chimpanzees Tracking experience where you will have the opportunity to follow an experienced guide into the forest to observe these fascinating creatures at a close range. Watching them interact with each other and go about their daily routine of grooming, playing and foraging is an incredible experience. While your chances of encountering chimpanzees are high during your tracking excursion, it is never 100% guaranteed. These are, after all, wild animals with wills and minds of their own!

Stop At: Bigodi Wetlands Sanctuary, Kamwenge Road, Fort Portal Uganda
In the afternoon after your lunch, you can choose whether you would like to go for Community walk or go deeper into the forest on a Swamp Walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary; home to 8 primate species, over 200 bird species, butterflies and various reptiles.

After your afternoon guided walk in nature, you will return to Kibale Forest Camp or Isunga Lodge for dinner and overnight stay in self-contained safari tents/rooms with private bathroom facilities.

Day 5: To Queen Elizabeth National Park for Afternoon Game Drive:
Stop At: Queen Elizabeth National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Western Region
After your morning breakfast, you will embark on an exciting drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park situated in the shadows of Mt. Rwenzori with several stops along the way for lunch, equator and landscape viewing before reaching the Park.
You will arrive in the afternoon and have your lunch before embarking on your afternoon game drive where you will expect to view animals like elephants, buffaloes, Lions, bush pigs, antelope’s families among others.

Stop At: Queen Elizabeth National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Western Region
After your long journey and afternoon game drive, you will check in to Bush Lodge or Simba Safari Camp for dinner and overnight stay in self-contained Bandas/rooms with private bathroom facilities. The Bush Lodge forms an excellent base for your safari activities in Queen Elizabeth National Park.
The lodge is built along ecological principals, the self-contained Bandas with private bathroom facilities are designed and spaced in such a way that they maximize privacy and enhance the safari aspect of its guests. Surrounded by the National Park and bordering the Kazinga channel, the lodge has a truly unique setting. Day 6: Game Drive & Boat Safari on Kazinga Channel:

On this, your safari breakfasts will be served before the day breaks so that you can start your morning game drive as the sun comes up. You will return for lunch & later in the day when the sun is high in the sky & the animals make their way to the river for a drink, you will head to Kazinga Channel for an exciting boat safari. You will spot more hippos today than you can possibly imagine. Herds of elephants & buffalos will also be wandering down to the shoreline to bath in the cooling waters. It will be a wonderful experience.

After the boat safari, you will return to the Bush Lodge for dinner & overnight stay in self-contained Bandas or rooms with private bathroom facilities.

Day 7: To Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via Ishasha Sector to search for Tree Climbing Lions:

On this day, you will wake up early and have your breakfast then transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park while enjoying a scenic drive that allows you to view the beautiful and varied country side. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is located in the southwestern part of Uganda on the rim of the Rift Valley. More notably, this “impenetrable forest” protects over 400 population of mountain gorillas – approximately half of the population in the world, among which are a number of habituated groups, that can be tracked by visitors.
Stop At: Ishasha, Uganda
You will have a stopover for a game drive at Ishasha Sector, Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will be likely to view tree climbing lions, elephants, lions, buffaloes among other species.

In the afternoon after your lunch, you will continue with the drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park where you will arrive in the evening and check in to Gorilla Valley Lodge or Buhoma Community Rest Camp for dinner and overnight stay in self-contained room or bandas with private bathroom facilities.

Day 8: Mountain Gorillas Tracking & Batwa Community Visit:
Stop At: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Western Region
After your breakfast, you will hike to the Park headquarters just meters from the Lodge for briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority guides before transferring to the starting point for Mountain Gorillas tracking. Your tracking experience will be an exciting, yet challenging, journey along forested slopes, tangled vines, thick vegetation & bamboo forests before you reach the territory of these gentle giants. The visit will give you a glimpse into the life of a Mountain Gorilla family & if you are lucky enough to gaze into the eyes of Mountain Gorillas. Visiting Mountain Gorillas will take you 3 hours to a full day trek through the forest since Mountain Gorillas move from one place to another every day looking for food & water, friends, hunting, copulation, grooming, play among others.

In the afternoon after your lunch, you will visit the Batwa Community at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for them to take you through their traditions of local beer making, fire setting & traditional dances.

After Batwa Community visit, you will transfer to Lake Bunyonyi and check in to Arcadia Cottages Lodge, Lake Bunyonyi for dinner and overnight stay in self-contained cottages with private bathroom facilities.

Day 9: To Lake Mburo National Park for Afternoon Boat Safari on Lake Mburo:
Stop At: Lake Mburo National Park, Lake Mburo National Park, Western Region
On this day, you will have your morning breakfast and go for canoe ride on Lake Bunyonyi (optional at additional fee of $50 per person) before transferring to Lake Mburo National Park. It is the smallest and is home to 350 bird species as well as zebra, impala, eland, buffalo, oribi, Defassa waterbuck, leopard, hippo, hyena, topi and reedbuck.

You will arrive to Lake Mburo National Park in the afternoon, have lunch and go for afternoon boat safari that will get you come face to face with the flora and fauna of the lake. And along the bank, you will also see many animals that come to the water especially in the dry season. You will also see many hippos, crocodiles, antelopes, buffaloes, and over 3 types of otters that are found in the lake. Also when it comes to the birds, you will view the malachite kingfishers, African Fish eagles, blue headed weavers, Rufuos long tailed starlings, the pied kingfishers, hammerkobs, Herons, pelicans, the rare shoebill as well as the cormorants.

After your boat safari, you will check in to Arcadia Cottages Lodge, Lake Mburo or Eagle's Nest Lodge for dinner and overnight stay in self-contained cottages or self contained safari tents located on a high hill with the best views in Uganda.

After your game drive, you will have your lunch before your guide drive you across the beautiful sceneries back to Entebbe and drop you off at Entebbe International Airport 3 hours before your departure time. Please make sure your flight departure is after 5 pm at the very earliest.
