Afternoon Saigon Unseen Adventure

At 1:00pm, our English speaking driver team will pick you up. We will learn about the mysterious story of the Thich Quang Duc. Stop at one of the most famous local restaurants to enjoy Hue noodle soup. Then we continue on driving to visit the oldest apartment built in 1968 and weave our way through alleys to visit the biggest flower market. Next, we will drive pass by hustle and bustle fashion street, and the bridge connecting district 5 and district 4. Then moving on to district 7, the richest area in Ho Chi Minh city which also called as "The Beverly hills of Sai Gon". Then our tour guides will take you to the unique island. Last but not least, we will arrive the floating market to enjoy fresh coconut and have a chat with locals who liv. Our licensed drivers will take you through eating alleys on the unique island. STATUE OF A MAHAYANA BUDDHIST MONK

At midday on June 11, 1963, the venerable monk Thich Quang Duc immolated himself to protest repression against Buddhism by the former Sai Gon regime. To memorize his struggle for peace, independence and reunification, his statue was built in a park on Cach Mang Thang Tam Street, where the act took place.

After that we continue ongoing to visit one of the most famous local wet market and weave our way through alleys to come the biggest flower market where it supplies hundreds kinds of flowers for the whole city. Almost all kinds of flowers are from Sadec city in the Mekong delta.

Stopping at a local coffee shop at the corner to enjoy Vietnamese coffee and look at hustle and bustle street. Go on visiting Thien Hau temple (the Lady of Sea) built by Chinese people in 1760 and all the materials were imported from China to Vietnam by boat. It is highly appreciated by people in China town (another name of district 5). We will drive pass by ornamental fish street, Medicine Street. Driving over the bridge connects District 5 and 8 to enjoy the contrast views between stilt houses along the riverside and high buildings.

After lunch, we will enjoy fresh coconut at the floating market, have a chat with locals who live on a boat year-round. This is where plenty of boats from The Mekong Delta dock for selling its products.
