Catch a train from Jaipur to Agra on this 2-day tour to see some of India's most significant historical landmarks, including the famous Taj Mahal, a World Heritage site. A private guide will lead you on sightseeing tours of culturally rich sites such as Agra Fort, and you'll partake in some shopping for souvenirs or gifts. One night of accommodation and most meals are provided. At the end of the two days, head back to Jaipur by car.

Pickup at 8am from your hotel in Jaipur or the airport, then make the journey by air-conditioned vehicle, four hours drive to Agra.

About one hour from Agra, stop to see Fatehpur Sikri, a World Heritage Site that has been described as a 'perfectly preserved ghost town.' Featuring a number of elegant buildings, the fortified city was built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar in the late 16th century, then was abandoned after only 14 years.

Pickup 6am from your hotel and we visit Sunrise the famous Taj Mahal, A UNESCO World Heritage Site. No trip to Agra would be complete without a visit to this shimmering vision of domes and minarets. The world's best-known tomb stands testimony to the timeless love story of the 17th-century Mughal Emperor, Shah Jahan, and his wife, Queen Mumtaz Mahal. (Note: the Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays)

Stop At: Agra Fort Rakabgani, Agra 282003 India
After the Taj Mahal, visit another UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Agra Fort. Built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 AD, this huge fort is made of red sandstone. The elegant buildings inside reflect an interesting synthesis of Hindu and Central Asian architectural styles. The maze of the courtyards, mosques, and private chambers of the fort echo the story of the Mughal Empire.
