Once you meet your guide by the fountain in front of Iancu de Hunedoara's statue you're journey will start. Walking through the Fourth Gate you'll enter in Alba Iulia's old town build and rebuild several times in it's 2000+ years of history. Crossing the bridge towards the Fourth Gate you still can see the three layers of the old town , starting with the ancient military fortress build by the Romans in the 2nd century AD to the medieval fortress from the 14th and later Austrian fortress from 17th century to the modern Alba aka " The true Romanian Capital city".Following up next the Roman- Catholic and the Orthodox Cathedrals , Princes Palaces and the Third Gate , Losenau and Custozza Monuments , Mihai Viteazul Statue ( Dracula's grandchild) and much more, will project you in the past of this amazing place in the heart of Transylvania .
