Alcatraz with Muir Woods and Sausalito Tour

This small-group tour will take you across the Golden Gate Bridge and allow you to walk among the oldest redwoods of the famous Muir Woods National Monument Park. You will venture to Sausalito to admire the beautiful seaside Mediterranean style city, and discover some of the most beautiful house boats in the world, where a hippie community took residence in the 70's.

Your transportation will be in a luxury brand new Mercedes Sprinter van with only 11 passengers in total. Throughout your tour, engage in conversation with your tour guide as you learn about his experience as a San Francisco local.

After your visit to Muir Woods and Sausalito, take a ferry from Pier 33 to Alcatraz Island where you will have an extraordinary experience INSIDE the most famous prison. Enjoy the award-winning Cellhouse audio tour and some free time to explore the island on your own.

We say goodbye at Pier 33 for your ferry to Alcatraz. We don't pick you up after because you can stay as long as you want!

Walk quietly at your own pace on a easy path surrounded by 1000 year-old Redwoods.

You’ll board the ferry to Alcatraz at Pier 33 on the Embarcadero in San Francisco. Headsets are provided to listen to the award-winning audio tour, “Doing Time,” where you will learn about notorious criminals like Al Capone who were incarcerated here. Hear about escape attempts from 'The Rock,' and listen to commentary from former inmates and staff.
This is the drop off. No transportation after Alcatraz because you will be able to stay as long as you want on the Island until the last ferry back.
