Start your full-day tour with pickup at your hotel in Lanzhou city and meet your guide, aboard an air-conditioned private vehicle. It’s a 4 hour drive to the Labrang Monastery. Your tour guide will explain the related histories and stories on the way. Free free to ask questions if you have.

The Labrang monastery is a holy place where Buddhism followers learn the essence of Buddhism. Over four thousand monks live here. Constructed in 1709 by Ngawang Tsondru, Labrang Monastery houses a rich collection of Buddhist scriptures, about 65,000 of them in 18,200 volumes in various categories, including philosophy, collected works, medicine, sabda, history, biography and craftsmanship.
