Take a boat ride along the old Grand Canal. You will learn about the history behind 3rd-century at ancient Panmen Gate and take a ride of the rickshaw along the historic Pingjiang Road if you like.

You will depart from your Shanghai hotel in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle to Hongqiao Train Station to have a wonderful bullet train experience to Suzhou. Relax during the scenic on the road to the Humble Administrator's Garden in Suzhou city. Upon arrival, you will stroll around old houses, ponds, and walkways inside the garden. The garden is considered the model of the modern Chinese Garden. Sitting in the pavilion beside the pond, you will fell like stepping back in history. 

From Humble Administrator's Garden (or pick one from Tiger Hill and others), then enjoy a relaxing boat trip on the old Grand Canal. You will then head to the Panmen Gate. It is claimed to be the oldest ancient water and land gate in the world for the purpose of defense against enemy armies. Refuel with a traditional Chinese lunch after Panmen Gate. In the afternoon, you will visit the Pingjiang Road, which is a beautiful old street beside the canal.
