Alternative Rainbow Mountain Palccoyo Hike & Community Visit (Small group tour)

Be one of the first travelers to visit the Rainbow Mountains Palccoyo without a multiple hour hike, tons of people around or altitude problems. The Palccoyo, or Tres Rainbows as others like to call it, is still an untouched place where you will see 3 instead of only one Rainbow Mountain. With us, you will be one of the first groups to arrive at the mountain. Our small group of max 8 travelers makes this more an experience than a touristy group tour. Apart from this, you will also have the chance to see many Llamas and Alpacas in the valley. You will most likely even have your own Alpaca that accompanies us during the hike. Together with your professional guide, you will get in touch with the local community and learn more about their lifestyle. Get ready for an authentic Peruvian experience!

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Palccoyo Rainbow Mountain, 08230, Peru

3:45 am: Pick-up from your hotel in Cusco

5:30 am: Breakfast in local restaurant

8:00 am: Optional visit of the Palccoyo community and its potato museum (currently not possible due to reasons related to COVID-19)

9:30 am: Arrival at the parking lot (view of the 1st rainbow mountain) + Briefing

10:00 am: Visit of the 2nd rainbow mountain

10:30 am: Visit of the 3rd rainbow mountain

11:00 am: Hike up to the stone forest (optional) with a spectacular view

11:30 am: Head back to the car and drive to the restaurant

1:50 pm: Lunch in local restaurant

3:30 pm: Arrival in Cusco and drop-off at your hotel
