Starting from Rome, we will cross a fantastic panorama made of rural buildings and farms until the appearance of Naples and its Vesuvius volcano. A few more minutes, and you will be stopped in a magical belvedere for a coffee break and a view that will leave you breathless. Just few miles further there is another magic sight, Sorrento and its beautiful bay. Then we make our way to Positano where a picture postcard comes to life, a patchwork of flat and domed roofs and vine-covered stairways tumbling down to meet the gentle curve of the beach. Enjoy time at leisure to explore this elegant spot with its designer boutiques, shops and seaside cafes. You can visit the church of Santa Maria Assunta with its dome made of majolica tiles as well as a 13th century Byzantine icon of a black Madonna. For lunch you can choose between the various restaurants on the beach or otherwise some coffee for a light lunch.
After that, ready to go to explore Pompeii, by your self or with a licensed guide organized by us for a cost of €120 for the whole group.

After coffe and cappuccino we take a drive along the wonderful coastal road of Sorrento. You will enjoy a superb view of the Bay of Naples, and the Island of Capri is revealed as well as the Amalfi coast road emerges from over the mountain top, driving along winding country roads bordered with lemons, olive threes and bouganvilles. In ancient time Sorrento was famous for its wine (oranges and lemons, now widely cultivated there were not yet introduced in Italy in antiquity) its fish, and its red campanian vases.
