Located in the heart of Soweto, the museum takes us back to this special day in the history of South Africa. When the youth decide to defy the system something really bad.
In honor of all youths took part in students' uprising on 16th June 1976 defying a very poor educational system introduced mainly into black South Africa's students. The brave students began their day here on the site of the museum knowing very well to be risking their lives for the best and equal future for everyone in the country. What began as educational battle ended in political arena that eventually led to the new dawn to the people of South Africa.
