BERAT'S LOCAL PRODUCTS TASTING & SHORT WALKINGTOUR by 1001 Albanian Adventures

Berat region is famous for its natural high-quality products like cherries, figs and of course olives. The golden handed and minded people of the region make everything out of it, the famous gliko which are fruit/vegetable based, our raki which is also herbs/fruit based, dried fruits etc.

Through this tour, we will have a short walking tour of the city, from our office to the local house that is waiting for us. We will pas by the hanging bridge of the city and enjoy the view offered by Gorica quarter while we walk along Osum river toward Vila Lili. On the way some legends and facts about the city will be brought to you, until we reach the family and meer Lili and Vangjo, a cute couple who are very passionate about homemade and handmade products.

They have produced 40 types of raki and 20 types of gliko/jams!

The lady of the house will welcome us with a Turkish coffee freshly brewed for us, followed by some types of rakis and glikos they have prepared. Desserts cannot miss too!
