ArtVo Immersive Gallery Experience

Immerse yourself in over 100 paintings through 11 different themed zones over a huge space of 2000sqm, which allow you to explore many different scenes, locations and famous paintings. 

Unlike normal art museums, visitors are encouraged to touch and interact with the artworks, photographing themselves and becoming part of the art. You get to capture as many photos as you like, with trained staff at hand to assist and provide inspiration to enable the ultimate pose to create the best photos possible. 

ArtVo is located in Harbour Town, newly renamed The District Docklands, a short tram ride from the Melbourne CBD.

Please Note: although ArtVo is open to 6pm, we would recommend arriving by 4:30pm at the latest in order to leave enough time to see everything in it's entirety.

Once arriving at ArtVo, you will receive a short introduction which explains how the gallery works and the best way to capture your Instagram worthy photos! 

You can spend as long as you like inside ArtVo, but visitors generally require 2 hours to experience the entire gallery. 

Staff are on hand through the entire journey to provide inspiration with how to pose, to ensure that you are able to take the best possible photos. 

ArtVo is the first of its kind in Australia and showcases paintings that will capture even the art novice’s gaze.

Some favourites include being handed a larger than life piece of sushi by a Japanese chef or even getting your own set of angel wings. There are also multiple faux travel destinations such as taking a ride in a gondola through a Venetian canal or visiting the Taj Mahal.

Entry to ArtVo is from 10am to 6pm daily, with the last admission at 5pm.
