Cejar Lagoon is located within the Salar de Atacama, 20 kilometers from San Pedro de Atacama. It is recognized by the strong Calipso color of water and is surrounded by salts of various forms. Its waters, being saline, allow the bodies to float and remain without sinking, because the salt load is greater than the weight of the person.
