First destination the Acropolis Although there are many other Acropolis in Greece, the significance of the Acropolis of Athens is such that it is common known as “THE ACROPOLIS”.
While there is evidence that the hill was inhabited as far back as the fourth millennium BC, it was Pericles (c. 495 – 429 BC) in the fifth century BC who coordinated the construction of the site’s most important buildings including the Parthenon, the Propylaea, the Erechtheion and the Nike Temple. A very important place for the antiquity and today.

We will spend a couple of hours visiting the Acropolis and then we will continue our tour heading towards to the Temple of Olympian

The only stadium in the world built entirely of marble. The Stadium hosted the first modern Olympic Games in 1896

Stop At: Mount Lycabettus, Athens Greece
We will continue our tour by driving up to the highest point of Athens, the St Lycabettus hill

Stop At: Temple of Poseidon, Cape Sounio, Sounio 195 00, Greece
After that we’ll drive out to the coastal road of Athens, so called Greek Riviera, to Cape Sounio (Temple of Poseidon).
On our way, we will pass through some of the nicest sea side areas that you will have a variety of choices either for a break from the heat for lunch or coffee.
