Itinerary

Day 1: WELCOME TO CAMBODIA - SIEM REAP ARRIVAL

Pass By: Siem Reap, Siem Reap, Siem Reap Province
Your trip begins with the arrival in Siem Reap. Your driver and guide will meet you at the airport and transfer to your accommodation. Check into a hotel and have some rest after the flight.

You can take a walk around the neighborhood. Historic charm, architectural marvels, and products’ variety are splashed all over this area.

Day 2: EXPLORE THE CAPITAL OF ANCIENT KHMER

Stop At: Angkor Wat, Sangkat Nokor Thum, Siem Reap Cambodia
After breakfast, visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, the best-preserved holy Buddhist gateways to Angkor Thom, which was built in the 12th century. Here you will visit Bayon Temple, The Royal Enclosure, Phimeanaka, Elephant and Leper King Terrace. Then continue to Ta Prohm, a temple in the jungles covered by trees growing out of the ruins. This temple is the place where the most impressive scenes of Lara Croft: Tomb Raider were filmed.

In the afternoon you will visit Hindu temples Thommanon, Chaosay Tevoda and Ta Keo: the small, attractive temples in very good condition, which were built all the same time as Angkor Wat. Then continue to Angkor Wat - one of the “7th Wonders’ of the World” and World Heritage Site since 1992. Famous for its beauty and splendor Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology. After visiting Angkor Wat you will get to the top of the Bakheng Hill for the sunset viewing. Bakheng is the first major temple been constructed in the Angkor area, this temple-mountain offers the extraordinary views of the Tonle Sap and Angkor Wat.

Day 3: HEADING TO PHNOM PENH

Have breakfast at the hotel and get ready for your transfer to Phnom Penh by air-conditioned bus.

Stop At: Royal Palace, Sothearos between Street 240 & 184, Phnom Penh Cambodia
In the afternoon you will visit the Royal Palace, which is currently a residence of His Majesty, the King of Cambodia, and the royal family. The palace looks like a small town of royal dynasties. Continue to Silver Pagoda, which serves less as a functioning temple than a repository for cultural treasures such as 90 kg golden Buddha encrusted with 2086 diamonds. Finally visit Wat Phnom Temple, one of the most important pagodas in Phnom Penh It was built in 1373 on an artificial hill by the wealthy widow Daun Chi Penh.

Day 4: TRAVEL FROM PHNOM PENH TO HO CHI MINH CITY

Stop At: Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, Corner of Street 113 & St 350 History Museum, Phnom Penh 12304 Cambodia
Breakfast at the hotel, then visit Tuol Sleng Museum (S-21 prison). This former school was used as a prison by Pol Pot’s security forces. More than 17,000 people held at S-21 were taken to the extermination camp at Choeng Ek to be executed. Then visit Russian Market (Toul Tumpong Market), this Market has gained a reputation for cheap clothing, a large selection of Buddha images and woodcarvings, betel-nut boxes, silk, silver jewelry, and classic music instrument.

After the tour you will be transferred to a bus station where you will take a bus from Phnom Penh to Ho Chi Minh. The bus trip takes around 6 hours.
Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh our driver will meet you and take you to your hotel in city centre.

Day 5: DISCOVER THE FASCINATING CU CHI TUNNELS

Stop At: Cu Chi Tunnels, Phu Hiep TL15 Phu Hiep, Ho Chi Minh City 700000 Vietnam
Have breakfast at hotel and get ready for your tour to Cu Chi Tunnels. The trip will take approximately one and a half hours driving. Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by a video about how the tunnels were constructed and how people survived in the harsh conditions of the wartime. Then, spend your time to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the specially constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purpose during the war. Afterward, native Cu Chi tapioca will be served.

Day 6: SAILING THROUGH MIGHTY MEKONG DELTA

Stop At: My Tho, My Tho, Tien Giang Province, Mekong Delta
Kick start your day with a hearty breakfast and a trip to Mekong Delta follows. Depart for My Tho, the town lies on the left side of the Mekong River. Upon arrival on board the sampan and cruise down the river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands.

Have a stopover at Unicorn Island, where you will take a walk around the country lane and see the orchards, enjoy tropical fruits, folk songs and music, performed by the local people, and visit the fruit plantation.

Then you will ride a hand-rowed sampan through Thoi Son canal and treat yourself with the beauty of the countryside, then visit the family workshops and honey-bee farm, where you could enjoy honey tea and coconut candies.

Have lunch at a local restaurant. Break time.

In the afternoon, time for cycling around the Tan Thach village and meeting the local villagers to experience the local daily life in the Mekong delta. Hammock relaxing and enjoying the cool breeze for those can’t join the cycling trip. Return to Ho Chi Minh.

Day 7: FROM VIBRANT HO CHI MINH CITY TO GRACEFUL HUE

Pass By: Hue, Hue, Thua Thien - Hue Province
Have breakfast at the hotel, have free time until our driver will meet you for a transfer to the airport for your next flight to Hue. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel. After hotel check-in have some leisure time in Hue

Day 8: HUE CITY TOUR

Stop At: Hue Imperial City (The Citadel), Hue Vietnam
Have breakfast at the hotel. The guide will pick you up around 8:00-8:30 am, and you will head to the boat station, from where you will take a boat trip. The dragon boat will cruise along the Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda, which is considered to be the most beautiful pagoda in Vietnam. Then you will head to the Imperial Citadel, the residence of the Nguyen Dynasty, which was Vietnam’s last royal dynasty. Then you will visit The Royal Antiques Museum, one of the first museums in Vietnam. Many collections of ancient Hue and Royal antiques are displayed here: bronze wares, china, music instruments, royal attires and personal belongings of the Emperor family of Nguyen Dynasty. Then continue to Dong Ba market – the best place for cultural gifts and souvenirs.

Stop At: Tomb of Khai Dinh, Thuy Bang Commune, Huong Thuy, 530000 Vietnam
In the afternoon you will visit the Emperors Tombs such as Emperor Khai Dinh (1885-1925) Tomb, famous for its beauty and unique architecture style, and Emperor Minh Mang (1791-1841) Tomb. On the way back to Hue you will have a stopover at the Conical Hat village to see how famous Vietnamese traditional hats Non-La are produced, and the Incense stick making village to observe how locals make sandalwood and cinnamon incenses.

Arrive back to your hotel around 4:00-4:30 pm.

Day 9: TRANSFER FROM HUE TO HOI AN

Pass By: Hai Van Pass, Phu Tho Vietnam
Have breakfast at the hotel and get ready for the 3 hours trip from Hue to Hoi An by private vehicle.

Upon arrival, you will have free time. You could spend time at the beach or to explore this romantic and charming town. We recommend you to have a walk around the Hoi An in the evening when the Old Town in Hoi An transforms into a mystical row of lights and lanterns.

Day 10: HOI AN BASKET BOAT AND FISHING TOUR- FLIGHT TO HANOI

Stop At: Hoi An, Hoi An, Quang Nam Province
Today your English-speaking guide will meet you at the hotel around 8:00 am and take you for a cycling trip to the countryside and rivers around Hoi An. As you meander through the countryside you will experience the friendliness of the local people greeting you along the way. After that, you will board the Hoi An Eco-tour boat for a river cruise to meet and engage with local fishermen. Enjoy a hands-on experience of traditional net fishing. You will also take a paddleboat trip in a unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boat down the waterways of a coconut palm paradise.

After the tour, you will have free time until our driver will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival, our driver will pick up you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel.

Day 11: EXCURSION TO THE NATURAL WONDER OF THE WORLDS - SHARING CRUISE

Stop At: Bai Tu Long Bay, Halong Bay 008433 Vietnam
Breakfast at the hotel. Get pick-up by the Cruise team around 7:30. Take the most scenic route to reach Halong Bay, taking you across the Red River Delta with emerald green rice paddies stretching for as far as the eyes can see. On arrival at Halong, you get to enjoy a cruise on the Bay to better explore the limestone rocks and the karst grottoes.

After you are done with your exploration of the bay, it is time to enjoy an utterly delicious seafood lunch, after which a trip to the famous limestone cave in Ha Long Bay, you’ll get to spend some time here, kayaking or swimming, so that you can get closer to the floating villages and shops. Towards the evening, you will return to the boat for an early dinner, followed by some time at leisure. You can opt to attend the activities taking part in the boat or relax for the day.

Note: In case of bad weather (the boat is not allowed to push off or not allowed to overnight in the sea), the Ha Long bay tour could be canceled without notice. We will consider other replacement tour or refund based on the specific circumstances

Day 12: BACK TO TRANQUIL CAPITAL

Stop At: Bai Tu Long Bay, Halong Bay 008433 Vietnam
Rise early for a Tai Chi lesson or just to enjoy a hearty breakfast. The boat will make its way back to the port stopping at the Limestone Cave, full of stalagmites and stalactites. From here, it’s clear sailing back to the main harbor and the return Hanoi around 17:00. Free at your leisure time.

Day 13: GET AWAY FROM BIG CITIES WITH BA VI ECO TOUR

Stop At: Ba Vì, Hanoi, Vietnam
Have breakfast at the hotel then you will be picked up by an experienced English-speaking guide and travel to Ba Vi, a countryside located at the outskirt of Hanoi. The approximate travel time is one hour and 30 minutes.
Then arriving at Mr. Duoc’s house, you will be welcomed with fresh honey tea and green lentils or lotus seeds that made by his family. Imagine a Vietnam in the old time of war through stories of Mr. Duoc, who is a Vietnam War veteran and lived during those hard times. He is also a green tea expert, you will visit his tea plantation which is one of the largest in Ri village and will join the locals in green tea processing. Afterward, have a Vietnamese cooking demonstration with another local host Mrs. Chin and then enjoy a home-cooked lunch in a lovely garden.
After that, you will wander around the village and mingle with local people. You will visit the local craftsman who has been skilled at making conical hats from a very young age and other workshops in the village to see how people there make tofu or shell the rice. As you meander through the countryside you will experience the friendliness of the local people greeting you along the way. Then join your guides for a leisurely cycling trip along the country roads. Observe traditional Vietnamese rural life as the local people work in the paddy fields. Along the way, watch out for a water buffalo plowing a paddy field while ducks swim across the lake. Stop at another host family for foot bathing prepared by the recipes of Muong ethnic group and have a relaxing time before embarking on your private boat for a trip along the Da river.
Later, enjoy a transfer from Ba Vi back to your accommodation.
