Wat Benchamabophit Dusitvanaram is also known as Marble temple. Construction of the temple began in 1899 at the request of King Chulalongkorn after building his palace. Beautifully architecture designed marble that attract the tourist attraction. Interior are designed with crossbeams of lacquer and Gold. Exterior are Carrara marble pillars, a marble courtyard and two large singhas (lions) guarding the entrance. In the temple near the ordination hall are 52 Buddha statues each showing different mudras. In this temple you can also buy sparkling stone.
