Visit to the winery Mercouri
The renowned winery Mercouri Estate is located just north of Agios Andreas beach and is also controlled by the tourist train. The winery exists since about 1860 and is a nice destination in the vicinity of Katakolon, about 4 kilometers from the port. It is an old, large estate with a rich history in the production of wine and olive oil, formerly also of black raisins. A tasting of the products in the shade of the ancient pine trees completes the visit.
