Bay of Islands Tall Ship Sundowner Sailing

If you are short of time but still want a special tall ship experience or just simply looking for a pre-dinner activity, why not jump on this wonderful Sundowner Sailing? Operating on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, this short 2-hour experience offers a gentle sail in the inner bay. Light finger food is included and a cash bar is available. Includes return ferry transfers to Russell if required so it's a great chance to spend the day in Russell before you step on board.

Step on board Northland’s iconic tall ship the R. Tucker Thompson for a relaxing sail in the inner Bay. Get involved and help us hoist the sails, then once we are underway, sit back and relax as we pass around a shared antipasto platter. Enjoy a drink from our cash bar and experience the beauty of a traditionally rigged vessel under sail.

If you're adventurous, there's time for you to grab a harness and climb up the rigging. For the more romantically inclined, head out to the bowsprit and create your own memories.
