Tour Itinerary

The guide and driver will pick you up from exit of arriving hall of Beijing International Airport(PEK) 2 hours after the flight landing time, and then drive to the Forbidden City  (for about 2-3 hours). Upon arrival, history telling first while standing in front of the magnificent Meridian Gate, which is the main entrance to the Forbidden City. Then follow the guide to go through the entrance with the pre-booked tickets. After you get into the Forbidden City, also called Palace Museum, you will be flooded by the tons of history from early Ming to Qing Dynasties (1420-1911). Our visit will follow the central line as the most important buildings were built along it. 

Driving to restaurant and having typical Chinese lunch (1.5 hours).

After lunch, driver to Mutianyu Great Wall (75 miles away from downtown, about 1.5-2 hours driving). Tour guide explain the sightseeing along the tour. Hike on the most famous part of the Great Wall, Mutianyu section (for about 2-3 hours). It’s the prettiest part in Beijing. You can choose to hike up to the wall (1,000 steps high) or take the cable car up and down. While on the amazing wall, you will walk on it and take the whole beautiful bird view.

Transfer you back to Beijing International Airport (PEK) after the tour.
