Wangfujing Street, as one of the symbols of Beijing's commerce, is the most well-known and prosperous shopping street with modern and fashion trends.

As the first famous business zone in this city, Wangfujing Shopping Street houses a wide variety of shops and boutiques, some of which are of world-famous brands. Apart from that, there are also many time honored stores with traditional commodities standing in the street for hundreds of years.

The National Centre Theatre usually is described as "The Egg" because of its shape. It is an ellipsoid dome of titanium and glass surrounded by an artificial lake. At night, there is a light show which is the great moment to take pictures.

The Beijing National Stadium - more often referred to as the Bird's Nest Stadium - took five years to complete and was constructed using 42,000 tons of steel, making it the largest steel structure in the world.

It was designed as the main stadium of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. The Olympic events of track and field, football, weight throw and discus were held there.

Since October 2008, after the Olympics ended, it has been opened as a tourist attraction. Now, it's the center of international or domestic sports competition and recreation activities.
