All tours are by air conditioned car and include pick up from your local* hotel or arrival point whether you choose a full day (minimum 8 hours) or a half day (minimum 5 hours) tour. A full day tour includes visits to both Stonehenge and Avebury, West Kennet Long Barrow, Silbury Hill and Durrington Walls with an expert, local guide. Your guide has a degree in archaeology and classical studies and is from the county of Wiltshire so knows the most scenic routes, the more hidden, less frequented and unusual sites along the way and the best places to eat and drink including traditional English pubs. An equally traditional picnic lunch is also an option.
*by local we mean local to the Stonehenge and Avebury area west of London. Local towns include Salisbury, Bath, Swindon, Chippenham and Marlborough
