Bike and Wine tour in Romania

Enjoy a 20 km bike tour in one of the most famous and oldest wine-growing regions in Romania, the €œTuscany of Romania€! Combine the beauty of wine tasting and experience local culture in a healthy and active way, on the bicycle!

Enjoy a complimentary hotel pickup and transfer from your Bucharest  to the starting point of our bike trip, Dealu Mare area. Before the ride, take part in a short bike fitting and safety briefing. Then, you will be ready for your 1-1.30h scenic bike ride in the wine land of Dealu Mare. The route has a total length of ~ 24 km, is almost paved and nearly flat and connects the cities of Urlati-Ceptura on a local road with little traffic. Upon arrival to the winery we shall enjoy an interesting tour through the vineyards, wine tasting and a selection of Romanian cheeses and cold cuts.

After exploring the wine area, you wi€™ll head back by bike. Your professional guide will provide advice along the way. After the completion of your tour, enjoy a worry-free transfer back to your location in Bucharest.

Our Bike & Wine event will combine:
• an excellent bike route ranging from 20-40 km on the road but also on country roads :)
• premium wineries, local vineyards and organic apple orchards
• exercise, good wine and fresh grape juice (in autumn only)
• visits to cultural sights – Bellu manor, Crama 1777 Winery museum, small wooden church

Please note you can choose from 2 bike routes, with different difficulty level, an easy or a medium level route in the same area.
