After early pickup from your central Varanasi hotel, travel by air-conditioned vehicle to a pier on the River Ganges.

Gaze at Varanasi’s streets as they stir into life, and after about 30 minutes, arrive at the ghat (riverside steps) on the River Ganges where your private boat awaits.

As the dawn bathes everywhere in a red glow, meet your boatman, settle aboard, and sail onto the river. Have your camera ready to capture the intense colors and commotion at the riverbank temples and ghats

See crowds of locals arrive on the steps and offer prayers and flowers to the river — held sacred by all followers of the Hindu religion. Watch the pilgrims bathing in the holy waters, giving thanks for their lives.

Around halfway through your cruise, pull up at a ghat and go ashore to explore. Drink in the temple and activity around you, and then return to your boat.
