Stop At: Haedong Yonggung Temple, 416-3, Sirang-ri, Gijangeup, Gijang-gun, Busan 619-902 South Korea

Haedong Yonggungsa Temple is situated on the coast of the north-eastern portion of Busan. This superb attraction offers visitors the rare find of a temple along the shore line whereas most temples in Korea are located in the mountains.

One of the special sites at the temple are the 108 stairs and stone lanterns lining the rocky landscape. After going down the 108 steps, one will be delighted with the beauty of the temple. Midway down the 108 steps, one can stop and enjoy the calming sounds of the waves, and view the majestic sunrise.

This park is located off at the end of Haeundae beach which is the most beloved beach in Korea. It shows one of nature’s wonders in Korea. While strolling around the island, you can oversee an expansive view of the beautiful sea of Busan, meanwhile, you will be also told local stories of Busan.

Gamcheon Village is an area of Busan that is formed by houses built in staircase-fashion on the foothill of a coastal mountain. In Gamcheon village you can see traces and records of traditional and contemporary history. This village consists of colorful and Lego-style homes, cafes and galleries. While strolling in the village and feeling the modern history of Busan, you can take selfies or pick up a map that will give you recommended routes to see the various highlights. Also, you can join the scavenger game, where you can get points by doing the to-do activities while you are walking around this friendly neighborhood.
