Stop At: Nairobi National Park, Langata Road, Nairobi Kenya

The Nairobi National Park is situated a short drive from the city. The park's proximity to a large urban center is unique in Africa. Wide open grass plains and backdrop of the city scrapers, scattered acacia bush play host to a wide variety of wildlife. Aside from elephants, all of the Big Five are present. There is a good population of black rhinos and are easily seen grazing on the open plains. Leopards are very shy, but lion, cheetah and hyena are regularly spotted. Buffalo, Masai giraffe and a variety of antelope are common.
