Al-Tannoura show at Wekalet El Ghoury, al Mueizz St. till Bab el Futuh(Gate of conquest),Bab el Nasr(Gate of victory),Khan el Khalili bazaars.
The Tannoura(Tanoura) dance is a sort of religious dance performed by Sufi men, Darawish. Most probably it is derived from the Sufi whirling in Iran and Turkey, but in our case the men wear multicolored dresses where each color stands for one Sufi order.Wekalet El Ghoury, where the show takes place is a wonderful example of the Islamic architecture dating back to 16th century.Then you will go to Mueizz street, the first street of Cairo and walk till the ancient gates of Cairo Bab: el futuh(Gate of conquests) and Bab el nasr(Gate of victory).Then you will have a free tour in Khan el Khalili Bazaars to enjoy the experience of bargaining in an oriental market.
