Canyon of the Lost

On this tour you can go hiking, trekking and enjoy beautiful desert landscapes and paleontological remains. The canyon is a crack in the earth about 150 meters high and 3 km long.

Stop At: Ocucaje, Ocucaje, Ica Region

We start the tour from our office or pick up in your hotel or residence. We go to the district of Ocucaje where they will receive a brief explanation about its monuments and we will enter the Paleontological Museum of Ocucaje.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Canon de los Perdidos, Santiago, Ica Peru

Visualization of the desert landscape system that includes the Pyramids of Callango; Mountain Delfin and the Mountain Train Station. We will also walk to the viewpoint of land of the Rocks where we will find rocks with whimsical shapes (Mirador, Magic Eye, Sapo stone and Gallito de Piedra).

We will arrive at the embouchure or start of  the Canyon where we will provide an explanation of the structure, shape and origin of the canyon as well as an explanation of the marine fossils.

Finally, wwe will descend the sanctuary of the canyon and we will make an ecotourist tour until we reach the intersection of the Dry River and the Ica River.
