Canyoning on Dambovicioara Gorges from Brasov

"Piatra Craiului" is one of the rockiest mountains in Romania. The canyon "Oratii" is part of it. The program combine the adrenaline of descending its spectacular 80m with the wild beauty of the landscape.

9 a.m. Pick up from the hotel in Brasov and drive 1:30 hours to "Podul Dambovitei".

The trail begins, crossing through the ancient "Oratia" citadel and then at altitude of 880m above see level is the entrance in the canyon.

The descent include 16 steps (between 2 and 7 m) where we'll use the technical equipment for rappel.

The canyon walls have dozens of meters and the water flowing inside it make our adventure more spectacular.

The descent takes 2 or 3 hours.

At the end we can visit Dambovicioara cave, or we can stop for lunch at a touristic sheepfold in Bran.

Then will return to Brasov.
