Stop At: Cuenca, Cuenca, Azuay Province

Your journey will begin only 20 minutes from Cuenca, in the eastern flank of Cabogana mountain, with a 40 minute hike through fields and cloud forest before reaching the gorge of Rio Amarillo. Here you’ll change into your canyoning gear (wetsuits, helmets, and harnesses) and the fun begins!

This canyoning tour will take you zipping through natural carved rock slides, plunging into rock pools, climbing, scrambling, swimming and rappelling along seven different waterfalls while enjoying wild and amazing scenery.

Two qualified guides will accompany you throughout this adventure in the southern Andes. This tour is available for a minimum of two and a maximum of seven people.
