Central Highland Village Tour

A full day trip to experience different cultures and enjoy the landscapes of the Highlands. Visit the Catu people (ethnic minority group), learn about their community life and their famous waving abilities. During our tour we provide some food supplies and gifts for this socially disadvantaged villages.

Itinerary

7.30 Pick up at the hotel in Hoi AnOn the way to the Central Highland we will stop at the local houses to see how they make the rice paper. Give it a try your self and don’t miss to eat the fresh fried, crunchy rice paper.In the mountains we stop to enjoy the beautiful landscape and see some clear water springs and Green Tea gardens.Visit two villages in the Dong Giang area in the morning. Learn about the local ethnic minority called „Catu“ and the difficulties they encounter due to the threat of development in Vietnam. Contrast the Vietnamese and the Catu culture, language and habits.Rice Paper

Local lunch in the villageVisit another village before going to the Ho Chi Minh Trail and drive back direction Danang. On the way from Danang to Hoi An we will have a short stop at Marble Mountain and arrive at the hotels in Hoi An around 5.30pm
