Chateau du Taillan and Park including Wine Tasting Tour

Enjoy a visit of a typical property from Médoc area situated at 12 km from Bordeaux. You will discover the château and the history of the family owner, the beautiful view of our vineyard and our amazing underground cellar which dates back to the XVIth century. After the visit, a tasting of different wines will be proposed with cheese, chocolate and dry fruits.

When you will arrive at Château du Taillan, you will be welcomed by a person from the site and you will start the visit in the private house. In the region, it's a privilege to see the interior of a château! You will discover the history of the family owner since 1896 and the furnitures and decoration typical from de XIXth century. Then you will enjoy a glass of our rosé wine in the terrace of the château where you can see our vineyard. You will have some explanations about the different works that we do during the year. After, you will cross the park with centenarian trees to go into the cellar where the architecture is unique.We will speak about the wine making process of out wines and you will have the opportunity to visit the private cellar of the family where you will see some old bottles. To finish this beautiful tour, you will discover our different wines, white and red with cheese, chocolate and dry fruits.
