Cocoa tour 2d/1n

During the tour, you will discover a Peruvian province (La Convencion) in the mountainous jungle that tourists rarely visit. You will learn and experience yourself the making of a product that you consume frequently: chocolate. You will understand the lifestyle of local farmers as you shall share a full day with them and will be able to chat with them in order to gather information about their experiences.

Itinerary

Day 1: Visiting the Cocoa farm

Stop At: Huayopata Rodeo, 08700, Peru
Around 12 pm, you will arrive at the farm, where you shall meet the farmers and chat for a moment and then have lunch. After lunch, you shall start the visit of the plantation where you shall taste all the fruits that are in season.
Duration: 5 hours

Accommodation included: You will stay the night at the farmer's home where they have private rooms with private bathrooms and hot water

Day 2: Returning to Cusco

Stop At: Cusco Cathedral, Portal Belen Plaza de Armas, Cusco 08002 Peru
After breakfast, our driver will bring you back to your hotel in Cusco
