Colca Canyon 2 days 1 night, spectacular

On this tour you can enjoy the beauty of the Colca Canyon with a restful night in the middle of the Colca Valley.

You can rest in a quiet, clean and safe environment surrounded by the mountains that form this famous Colca canyon, considered one of the deepest canyons in the world.

The departure is between 8:00 am and 8:30 am, Chivay is reached by making brief stops, on the way, typical lunch, rest time at the Hotel, thermal baths (where you can have a pleasant rest time in hot springs natural) and a night with typical dances and tourist dinner. Overnight in Chivay.

On the second day we visit the main points of the Colca Canyon, the Mirador de la Cruz del Condor, natural viewpoints around, traditional villages, and then return to Arequipa at an ideal time being the arrival at approximately 5:00 pm.

Itinerary

Day 1: AREQUIPA - COLCA

Stop At: Patahuasi, Patahuasi, Arequipa Region
To know the back of the Misti, an area that belongs to the Salinas and Aguada Blanca Reserve. A while to drink a mate of Coca or buy some crafts.
Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Salinas y Aguada Blanca National Reserve, Avenida Arequipa, Arequipa 04001 Peru
An area near the South American camelids, according to the season you can better appreciate this landscape to see vicunas, llamas, alpacas.
Duration: 25 minutes

Stop At: Abra Patapampa, Carretera 1SE, 30 Kms south of Chivay, Chivay 04145 Peru
Viewpoint where you can see the volcanoes such as Sabancaya, Ampato and others, there is a part where you can observe the thaws.
Duration: 25 minutes

Stop At: Chivay, Chivay, Colca Canyon, Arequipa Region
Main town of the Colca Valley, where there are hotels, restaurants, where you can breathe the tranquility that the Colca Valley provides. Here we install them in their respective Hosting. Colca Inn. Also for this town we have 1 hour for lunch. It is important to mention that being the main town we will be here for the rest of the day and also the second day for the return to Arequipa we will pass again through this small town.

Stop At: La Calera Thermal Waters, Chivay Peru
It is optional according to the season we attend these hot springs. Natural waters, income is optional 15 soles or 5 dollars.

Visiting hours are from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm.

Stop At: Chivay, Chivay, Colca Canyon, Arequipa Region
Again in Chivay we will have a dinner with Folkloric Show. Then back to the Hotel where they sleep the first night.
Duration: 1 hour

• Lunch: Welcome Buffet Lunch to the Colca Canyon.
• Dinner: Tourist dinner with show of dancers typical of the area.

Day 2: Chivay - Colca - Arequipa

Stop At: Mirador Cruz del Condor, Cabanaconde Peru
Place where the depth of the Colca canyon is appreciated, the flight of the Condor is appreciated and they have a spectacular view and rest.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: mirador antahuilque, -15.621497, -71.828881, 04124, Peru
Viewpoint on the way back from La Cruz del Cóndor where you can appreciate all the pre-Inca andeneria of the area.
Duration: 25 minutes

Stop At: Maca, Maca, Colca Canyon, Arequipa Region
Traditional Town of the Colca Valley, together with a Handicraft Market and visit of traditional places of the Zone such as the Church of Maca, settlers with typical costumes, with vicuñas and hawks trained to take good photos.
Duration: 25 minutes

Stop At: Chivay, Chivay, Colca Canyon, Arequipa Region
Again in the main town, where they will have time to eat and then last minutes of rest and then return directly to the city of Arequipa.
Optionally you can use a direct transport to Puno and no longer return to Arequipa.
