Combo La Fortuna Waterfall and Two Volcanoes

The tour begins at 7:30 AM— the La Fortuna Waterfall. This waterfall is representative of the Arenal area and is absolutely stunning. The 195-foot (60-m) fall creates a natural fresh-water pool, which is perfect for travelers who are up for swimming. The waterfall is surrounded by lush rainforest and is extremely scenic. It’s a good place to take photographs and appreciate the scenery.The journey continues with a visit to the Arenal Hanging Bridges. These bridges are set within one of the most important reserves in the area. The reserve has trails that run through the heart of the rainforest, as well as treetop suspension bridges. The suspension bridges extend through the forest canopy and give you the chance to see the forest from a different perspective. As you walk along the bridges, be on the lookout for birds, monkeys, and other animals.At 1:30 PM you’ll enjoy a typical lunch served by a Costa Rican family then we will take you to the hotsprings River.

Itinerary

To observe this splendid 70 meters high waterfall, visitors must pass a path of approximately 530 steps, which offers greater security to its passage and comfortable areas for rest and hydration through a forest with native trees of the area. Once in front of the waterfall, you will find a spacious and comfortable vantage point from which you can freeze your memories using unique and previously unpublished photographs, and finally take a refreshing swim in the clear waters of the Fortuna River, with an only witness (the River Fortune waterfall).

After the Waterfall hike get into the rain forest hiking around Arenal Volcano & Chato Hill, you will hike for more than 6 hours with at the shadow of both volcanoes, passing lava rocks formations from 1525, 1968 and 2010, swim in the beautiful lake created for lava rivers about 525 years ago. Finally, you will enjoy of the thermal mineral hot springs at Tabacon River.
