Join us on a journey of discovery of some of the traditional industries of the inland.Free pick up from the accomodation by comfortable vehicule heading to the area of Loulé where guests can visit the local market (situated near the historical center) and also a taste of the best traditional cakes made out of carob.
From here the tour goes to S.Brás de Alportel where we visit:
Traditional cork factory: Learn more about the process involved in preparing and packing the cork. Discover this innovating factory and all the processes to make this item so special. Visit to a cork shop: Here you can see some of the latest uses of cork  in fashion accessories made of cork fabric. Visit the beautiful landscape of the surroundings of S. Brás;

. Free time for lunch (optional) ; After lunch its the visit to the Algarve Costume Museum: Visit to the Cork Room, learn about the skills of working with cork from the tree to the finished product.

In here we take a guided visit to this important cork factory (very essential to the local economy) Duration: 90 minutes.:
