Curacao Snorkel Tour by Jet Ski or Aquaboat

Start your jet ski (or aquaboat) engine and explore Curacao’s spectacular southern coast, including a snorkeling tour in the pristine waters of Caracas Bay. You'll cruise past mangroves, bays and coves before stopping at a gorgeous beach, where an inviting lagoon welcomes you for a swim. Marvel at yachts, estates and vacation homes en route, and snorkel over a tugboat wreck inhabited by morays and scorpion fish! Choose a morning or afternoon departure by jet ski or a custom-made aquaboat, depending on your selection.

When you arrive at the boat shop, your guide will orient you with a safety briefing before you are assigned to your 2-person craft — a Seadoo GTI jet ski or custom-made aquaboat, depending on which option you selected. Aquaboats are wider than a jet ski and perfect for touring for a more comfortable ride, whereas a jet ski drives more like a sports car on the water. Whichever one you choose, just climb aboard the driver’s seat or just enjoy the ride!

For approximately 2 hours, you or your fellow passenger will pilot your own watercraft while taking in the magnificent views. Cruise the pristine coastal waters off the southern coast of Curacao, replete with coves, bays and beaches. On your route, you’ll pass mangroves and small islands during your playful exploration while your guide points out attractions such as a Dutch queen's vacation home.

When you reach the lagoon at the famous Tafelberg, admire the luxurious homes and yachts. Then take a beach break for a refreshing swim. You’ll have the opportunity to snorkel at one of Curacao's best snorkeling sites — a tugboat shipwreck. Located on the protected southeast side of Caracas Bay, the sunken tugboat is home to a wide array of marine life. It is common to see colorful coral, morays, scorpion fish, lobsters and schools of tropical fish during your approximate 40-minute snorkel tour.

On our return trip, enjoy the picturesque view of an old manorial estate and Fort Beekenburg, a well-preserved fort that was originally built in 1703 to protect the inner bay.
