Located in the Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, Petrohué River delights with its rapids. After a violent eruption of the Osorno Volcano, basaltic material gave rise to this attraction that runs through the evergreen forest.

The Osorno Volcano is part of National Park and its height is 2650 meters. A complete panoramic view of Lake Llanquihue Lake and part of the Andes is possible in a sunny day. The vehicle reaches an altitude of 1,200 meters on asphalted road where there is a cafeteria and ski center. In addition, it is possible to reach 1400 meters by liftchairs.

Puerto Varas is considered the tourist capital of southern Chile. The peaceful life of streets, visitors and locals enjoy the beautiful view and its surroundings.
