You will be picked up pick up from you hotel or residence in Amman at 7am. It is a 3 hour transfer via the Desert Highway to the astonishing rock city Petra. This fascinating ancient Nabatean capital dominated the Arabian trade routes, and is a must see in the Middle East. You will meet your guide at the Visitor's Centre and start to explore the mystic site.

You will pass the Siq, a narrow gorge where you get the first close views of the colorful sandstone, ending at the beautiful Treasury. Walk along the Street of Facades to the Royal Tombs, the Theater and Qasr Al Bint. Free time on your own, then walk the same way back to the entrance gate. In the afternoon, you will return to your Amman hotel.
