Day trip from Casablanca to Marrakech

The tour is a visit to the ancient city Marrakech. It is a 12 hours grand tour covering all entrance fees, that will fully explore one of the imperial cities of morocco. You can choose if you prefer a more flexible and personal private guide. The highlights of today’s trip are; a visit to the Majorelle Garden which was designed by an artist, a visit to the Koutoubia Mosque and Minaret, and also a visit to the busy stalls of Jemaa el-Fnaa (a UNESCO World Heritage centre).

The pick-up time from your Casablanca hotel is 7am, and it is a 2 hour 30 minutes drive to Marrakech. You ride is a comfortable air conditioned and Wi-Fi equipped. In Marrakech, you will be attached to a registered local tour guide for a trip through the attractions in the city, your tour starts with a visit to the Majorelle Garden, a blend of manicured gardens, vibrant art and architecture. This garden was designed by a French artist, Jacques Majorelle.

Your next destination is the Koutoubia Minaret and Mosque (one of the largest and most beautiful mosques in the western Muslim world). You will also visit the royal Saadian tombs, which was missing until the earl early 20th century. Then, you proceed into the streets of the medieval Medina to see craftsmen at work, following the footsteps of a sultan's vizier and concubine at Bahia Palace.

Jemaa el-Fnaa is blessed with story-tellers, gnawa singers, acrobats, snake-charmers, and monkey-tamers. You make a final stop here before returning to you hotel in Casablanca at about 8:30pm.
