Day trip of Kruja and National Park of Qafeshtama

To visit the city of Kruja is a "MUST" for everyone who is going to vist Albania. Kruja is one of the most important cities of Albania, mostly known to be the hometown of George Kastriota Skanderbeg, the greatest Albanian hero of all the times. Yes, Albania's national hero house, and although it was over 500 years ago, there's still a great deal of pride in the fact that he and his forces defended Kruja from the Ottomans until his death. Kruja which is closely related to the 25 years of activity of our national hero, Skanderbeg. During the the fifteenth century he made Kruja a bastion of uncompromising resistance against the Ottoman Empire.

The Old Bazaar, the Castle of Kruja (sieged 3 times by the Ottoman Empire and 3 times resisting the siege) and strolling between the old-traditional hoods are the highlights of the town
