Dining by the Red Riverside

An Eating out experience in Hanoi that you should try. Not only very tasty local foods but the drive by the restored army Jeep on Hanoi's streets. You will stop at a hidden site on the river bank, where You will have dinner at a nice local restaurant nearby.

At 6.30 - 7.00pm our guide and Jeep will meet you at your hotel and then start crossing the Red River.

You will stop at a hidden site on the river bank, where a cluster of local restaurants is situated; offering a great view of the river and the Long Bien Bridge. The bridge was built in 1899-1902 by the French, at the time one of the longest in Asia at 2500 meters. Nowadays it is only used for trains, pedestrians, bicycles and motorbikes. You will have dinner at a nice local restaurant nearby.  

While having your meal and enjoying the view, about every 30 minutes, you will see the trains coming or leaving Hanoi slowly on the bridge like the scene of an old movie. You even can hear the sound from the train.

Following dinner, you will jump on a motorbike and cross over the Red River on the historic Long Bien Bridge. The Jeep will wait for you at the other side for a drive around to see “Hanoi by night”; passing by the city’s landmarks before sending you back to your hotel as the tour ends.
