Discover Diving in Curacao

The introduction session will take approximately 4 hours. This is partly theory about diving, the dangers and how to dive safely. After this theory session you'll go to the tugboat dive spot. This is open water, but the first part is defined as confined water. When everybody is comfortable, you'll descend one by one to work on equalization and to perform the exercises. After this is all done there is a dive tour to a maximum depth of 12 meters.

Pickup and transport to the dive center is included in this tour. There, you'll do the necessary paperwork and gather all the equipment. After that, the group will start with theory and explaining the exercises. This will take approximately an hour and than you'll move to the dive spot. Here, everyone will get their equipment and enter the water to get comfortable, first with snorkeling equipment. You will have as much time as necessary for this portion of the tour.

Now, work on equalizing and start descending and conducting the exercises. This will be done individually and after that, you'll move deeper and finish the exercises as a group. When everyone is done, you'll start the underwater tour, a guided dive to visit a drop-off, a wall, a wreck and a pier. Enjoy all the wildlife, fish, corals and sponges along the way. And if safety allows it, photos will be taken and provided by email.  The groups consist of a maximum of 4 people and the lesson can be done in Dutch, English, Spanish, Papiamentu, Portuguese or German.
