Our Eastern Explore trip is focused mainly in the Agumatsa Ranges of Ghana. Our aim is to take you where others do not take you and have the best of experience to the fullest.

Itinerary

Day 1: Explore the Eastern Highlands

Stop At: Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary And Cultural Village, Tafi Atome Ghana
We will visit the scared monkey sanctuary where we have a direct intreaction with the Mona monkeys. We will also learn how eco tourism has contributed to the development of the community
Duration: 45 minutes

Stop At: Afadjato (Mount Afadjato), Ghana
We will hike Ghana's highest mountain to West Africa's highest peak
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Wli Waterfalls, Afegame Ghana
These waterfalls flow in 2 cascades, the upper and the lower falls. We will have a swim in the falls and the brave will get beneath the plunge pool of the falls. We will head back to our hotel before dark where we stay the night at.
Duration: 2 hours

Day 2: Depart to Accra. Enroute stop at Akosombo Dam Site

Stop At: Akosombo Hydro Plant, Lake Volta, Akosombo Ghana
Shortly after breakfast, we will depart and make most of the time for the journey ahead will drive to Akosombo where we have a tour of the Akosombo Dam, Ghana’s largest hydroelectric dam which provides electricity to Ghana and some of it neighboring countries
