Discover Scuba Diving in St Thomas

Discover Scuba diving from the dive boat with additional snorkeling stop or option to upgrade to second dive

During your Discover Scuba Diving course, you will learn how to use the equipment, followed by your first ocean dive from the dive boat. You will spend your time underwater in company of your instructor and colorful tropical fish. If you wish you can add a second dive or just snorkel on the second location. This course is conducted in small groups of not more than 4 students per instructor.

Boat is fully stocked with water, soft drinks, snacks and Rum punch after the diving/snorkeling. Do you have divers and snorkelers in the same group? No problem some of you can dive while others explore the ocean from the surface - snorkeling.

Itinerary

Have you ever wondered what it's like to breathe underwater? If you want to try scuba diving, but aren't quite ready to take plunge into certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is for you.

We will meet you at Aqua Marine dive boat, where we will start with a theory lesson. Your Diving Instructor give you a short lesson and theory overview and fill out the paperwork. We will make sure you will have all the right equipment and then we will we will embark on the dive boat for the ocean dive. Your instructor will spend some more time with you on the boat ride to your dive site to make sure you are comfortable with your scuba equipment and signs. We do have one instructor for a maximum of 4 scuba diving participants. Now Its time to dive! We will see tropical fish, colorful coral reef and maybe even a turtle or a ray. The participants need to be able to pass a medical questioner and be able to swim. This course is flexible and the best way to ease into the sport.

After your dive you can enjoy snacks, water and soft drinks, you can snorkel or upgrade your scuba experience, to do the second dive. There is up charge of $40 if you decide to upgrade to 2 dive.
