Visit Wachirathan Waterfall (pronounced “wah-chee-rah-TAHN”; also spelled Vachirathan) was the second major waterfall on the way up to the summit of Doi Inthanon. Of all the waterfalls we saw in Doi Inthanon National Park, we thought this one had the most power and spray, and it was probably the most impressive of the lot on the mountain’s slopes.

Phra Maha Dhatu Nabha Metaneedol and Phra Maha Dhatu Nabhapol Bhumisiri was builded by Thai Royal Airforce and Thai Citizens. The purpose of Phra Maha Dhatu Nabha Metaneedol was to build in the honor of King Bhumibol Adulyadej 50th birthday in 1987 and Phra Maha Dhatu Nabhapol Bhumisiri build in the honor of Queen Sirikit 50th birthday in 1995. Both places can see the unobstructed beautiful views of Doi Inthanon

Located in Chiang Mai Province, Doi Inthanon is the highest mountain in Thailand, rising 2,565 meters above sea level. Doi Inthanon National Park has lots of amazing variation in its lush geography and forest. It is home to rainforest, mixed forest, and pine forest. The weather is cool throughout the year, especially in the cool season when there will be almost constant fog coverage all day and a stunning phenomenon of Mae Kha Ning or frost flower in the early morning.
Here you will go to the highest point in Thailand, walk along nature trail (15 minute walking) and then visit Karen and Hmong hill tribe village and local market.
