Dos Ojos Cenote Cavern Dive- The Barbie Line and The Bat Cave

The name Dos Ojos (Meaning Two Eyes) originates from the two circular cenotes which are located close to each other. Easily considered to be the most famous cenote in the world.
Here we have two completely different cavern line routes for the divers. The Barbie Line and The Bat Cave Line. The Barbie Line offers amazing light effects, beautiful stalactites, stalagmites and columns all seen through crystal clear water. The Bat Cave offers an amazing opportunity to surface part way through the dive into a huge air dome and see hundreds of bats hanging out on the ceiling and flying around.

Itinerary

This is an experience for certified Open Water divers. We will drive into the jungle to complete 2 dives at the World Famous Cenote Dos Ojos. This is a cavern dive, not a cave dive! The main difference being we are never far from daylight. The dives we will do are The Barbie Line and The Bat Cave. Maximum depth 25ft/8m and both 45 minute dives.This experience is ideally for divers who have dived recently with +20 dives. If not then no problem as we can proceed with one dive in Casa Cenote and then go to Dos Ojos. Casa Cenote is a beautiful cenote that is open water and overhead cavern, so perfect for a refresher dive 1st before Dos Ojos.
