The romans arrived to the Douro Valley in I A.D. and the grapes were already valuable. Monasteries, during the Middle Ages, chose this area and improved the agriculture tecniques.  The discoveries increased the transport of the Douro wine to Porto, because the sailors needed a strong wine. Discover an amazing landscape, a breathtaking view, fantastic Port Wine and great food. 

The tour starts in Porto and goes all the way to the Douro Valley, were you will visit wine Cellars, have an amazing lunch near the Douro river and during the entire day you will be surrounded by vineyards and mountains, that will take your breath away.
