Our Downtown Taco tour starts in the heart of the City of Angels: Los Angeles. Home to captivating art, deeply rooted ethnic communities and world-class food, the nation’s second-largest city is vivid, soulful and eclectic.

We will explore the birthplace of the first Mexican settlement at the Pueblo de Los Angeles National Monument.

Villa Moreliana: At Villa Moreliana we will enjoy an authentic carnitas taco. Fernando Villagomez is the chef-owner of Villa Moreliana and has been cooking his grandfather's recipe for carnitas here since 2008. His enterprise gets its name from the city of Morelia in the Mexican state of Michoacán, the state with the best claim to the origin of carnitas
